Swapping a builder-grade light for a real fixture, or finally getting a fan up before summer. Existing wiring, done clean, tested on every speed before I leave.

Old fixture comes down, new one goes up, balanced and tested before I leave.
Breaker confirmed off at the panel before anything gets touched, not just the switch.
Fans are heavier and move air, so the box has to be rated for it. If yours is not, I will tell you and price the fix before I start.
Wired, mounted level, blades or shades attached, and the switch or remote paired.
Fans get run on low, medium and high to check for wobble before I call it done. Lights get checked on every switch or dimmer setting in the room.
$129 to install or swap a ceiling fan where the wiring and electrical box already exist. $189 if a new box or ceiling bracket is needed to support the fan. Light fixture and chandelier swaps on existing wiring are $89.
Often, yes, if the existing box is fan-rated or can be swapped for one that is. If it is not fan-rated, that becomes a new box install at $189 rather than a straight swap.
Either. Bring your own and I install it, or tell me the room and budget and I can point you toward something that will actually fit the box and ceiling height.
Not when I leave. Every fan gets balanced and run-tested on all speeds before the job is done.
Text a photo of the fixture and the ceiling and I will give you a real number. I answer my own phone.
