TV Mounting in Oak Grove, MS

Newer construction, bigger rooms, bigger screens. Oak Grove is where most of my 65-inch and up jobs come from.

What I see in Oak Grove homes

Oak Grove is newer construction, and it shows up in the work. Open floor plans, taller ceilings, and great rooms sized for a 65 or 75 inch screen rather than a 55.

Bigger screens change the job. A 75-inch panel needs the right anchor into real framing, not a guess, and a full-motion arm on a large screen puts serious leverage on the wall. That is the part worth paying someone to get right.

Newer homes also tend to have the outlet in the wrong spot for a mounted TV, which is why in-wall wire concealment gets asked for more out here than anywhere else I work.

Big houses have WiFi problems

The other thing about newer Oak Grove construction: one router in a 2,500 square foot house does not reach the back bedroom. That is a coverage problem, not a speed problem, and paying for faster internet will not fix it.

I walk the house and measure in every room, then place equipment based on what the numbers say. See WiFi and network.

Common questions

Do you charge extra to come to Oak Grove?

No trip charge. Same pricing as Hattiesburg, starting at $89.

Do you mount 75 and 85 inch TVs?

Yes. Large screens are $209 and up. The anchoring matters more at that size, especially on a full-motion arm, so framing gets verified before anything goes in the wall.

Can you hide the wires in a new construction home?

Usually yes. Modern drywall is the easiest surface to run a cable behind. It is $69 if you supply the kit, $149 if I do.

My WiFi does not reach the back of the house.

That is coverage, not speed. A single router will not cover a large open floor plan. A three-node mesh with a room-by-room walkthrough is $349, and sometimes a $129 fix is all it takes.
